Don't you think it's time to start thinking about your sweetie and what you're going to get him/her for Valentine's Day? I would suggest a visit to the Archie McPhee website. Once there, click on "Valentines." I'm sure your sweetie would never expect to receive an anatomically correct, strawberry-flavored gummy heart or a Secret Sweethearts pen that allows you to write messages that can only be read under ultraviolet light!
Since there is still time, you could try to make something a little more personal, like a sweater, or a homemade liqueur. If so, come to the library and borrow these books:
Browning, Marie. Beautiful Handmade Natural Soaps: Practical Ways to Make Hand-milled Soap and Bath Essentials. [668 BRO]
Cowan, Kirsten. Irresistible Knits for Men, Women, and Teens. [746.432 COW]
Harter, Caroline. Photocraft: Things to Do with the Pictures You Love. [745.5 HER]
Home Made, Best Made: Hundreds of Ways to Make All Kinds of Useful Things. [640 HOM]
Long, Cheryl. Classic Liqueurs: The Art of Making and Cooking with Liqueurs. [641.2 LON]
MAKE this a Valentine's Day to remember!
